I have been looking to upgrade my coffee experience from a pod machine and cafetiere for some time, but without the fuss and mess of a barista style machine. The Delonghi Magnifica Evo range seemed to offer a good compromise for a domestic environment, similar in concept to the machines in many hotel breakfast rooms. I opted for the version without milk dispenser as my main use is for versions of black coffee with an occasional cappuccino. This machine does the job very well. The downside for me is that it does require a lot of cleaning and regular descaling, as we live in a hard water area, and that is a lengthy and complicated process. For me it is worth the effort. We have quickly found beans to our taste, and look forward to our breakfast coffee every day.
